The Knave hesitated for a moment, trying to work out what the best answer was that wouldn't put Cyrus into more danger. If he told Hook everything, he had to gamble on him keeping his word and not just handing them both over to Jafar.
He wasn't sure he liked the odds but he didn't know what else he could do. They had to get out of this world and fast. Hook was their only chance.
"Because it's better than here," he answered finally. He hoped that would be enough but he didn't think he could be that lucky.
