"I've been there as it happens," the Knave answered. He hadn't been caught by the curse thanks to still being in Wonderland at the time but he had spent a fair amount of time in that world. When the curse broke, he'd made his way over and had been living there ever since.
"It's a nice place and, you know, I've had more than enough of this place. Thought I'd go back, see the folks and all."
